The Mashable shopping team typically considers Black Friday to be a marginally superior shopping day compared to Cyber Monday. Although many holiday promotions from Black Friday carry over to Cyber Monday, the finest selection is available earlier, and discounts seldom get better over the weekend. Up to this point, my colleagues and I have identified eight Black Friday deals at Amazon and Best Buy that have improved now that both retailers have entered Cyber Monday mode. The price variations are notable. For instance, Samsung’s 55-inch The Frame 4K QLED TV is currently $100 less expensive on Amazon than it was 48 hours ago. In contrast, it’s $102 pricier at Best Buy and Samsung’s website.

If you purchased one of these items at a higher price and wish to receive a refund for the difference, keep in mind that price protection policies differ by retailer. Best Buy will honor better prices on nearly any item bought there since Oct. 31, but Amazon does not provide price adjustments. You’ll need to return and repurchase previous Amazon items that are now cheaper. (My opinion: Most of the deals below are worth the effort.)
