Elon Musk on X: I Wish I Hadn’t Made Some Posts About Trump

Elon Musk is re-evaluating his decisions.

The wealthiest individual in the world, who recently informed his 220 million X followers that Donald Trump was “included in the Epstein files,” now appears to believe that a confrontation with the U.S. president may not be prudent.

“I regret some of my comments regarding President @realDonaldTrump from last week,” Musk tweeted on Wednesday. “They crossed a line.”

The rivalry between Musk and Trump started shortly after Musk departed from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Just days post-White House exit, he began to critique the president’s “big beautiful bill.” Tensions heightened on Thursday, prompting Musk to retweet a demand for Trump’s impeachment (now removed), while Trump warned Musk about his government deals.

Musk has since retracted the Epstein post, and Trump has indicated he has no intention of communicating with Musk.

Could this recent turn of events restore their previously strong bond?
