Hurricane Erick, making its way to Mexico’s Southern Pacific Coast, has increased in strength to a Category 4 — observable from space. Videos on the official SEN YouTube channel display Hurricane Erick above Earth, recorded on 18 June at 20:06 UTC using a 4K camera on the International Space Station.
The storm is forecasted to bring “life-threatening flooding and mudslides” to Southwest Mexico, along with “coastal flooding” and “catastrophic wind damage” close to its core, as stated by the National Hurricane Center.
