Apple has introduced an official Threads account.
The tech giant has recently established and confirmed its presence on Meta’s social platform, although it has yet to engage actively. The account can be accessed at https://www.threads.com/@apple, featuring the company’s emblem as the profile image and simply labeled as “apple,” but no content has been shared so far.
Additionally, Apple maintains an account on Elon Musk’s X (formerly known as Twitter), where it does not have any retained posts, though it occasionally employs the platform to highlight products and events. Currently, the account displays 0 posts, despite boasting 9.8 million followers.
Apple’s involvement on Threads is not surprising, given its active Instagram profile (both Instagram and Threads are under Meta’s ownership and follow the same account verification procedures). On Instagram, Apple frequently shares images from its “ShotoniPhone” initiative.

Curiously, Apple possesses several other accounts on Threads, including Apple News, Apple Music, and Apple Books, yet these remain inactive as well. The only Apple-affiliated accounts actively publishing on Threads are Shazam and Beats by Dre.
