King of the Hill is Back: Check Out the Season 14 Trailer Today!

Fifteen years after its finale, “King of the Hill” is poised to make a comeback with its eagerly awaited Season 14 in under a month. Conversations regarding the revival of the animated series started in 2017.

The show’s original creators, Mike Judge (“Beavis and Butt-Head”) and Greg Daniels (“The Office”), are returning for the reboot, which accounts for the elapsed time between Seasons 13 and 14 by aging the characters.

As per the official season synopsis, Hank and Peggy Hill (voiced by Judge and Kathy Najimy) have recently dedicated years to a propane job in Saudi Arabia to prepare for retirement. They are now heading back to Arlen, Texas, to reconnect with series mainstays Dale (voiced by Toby Huss, stepping in for the late Johnny Hardwick), Bill (voiced by Stephen Root), and Boomhauer (voiced by Judge). Meanwhile, their son Bobby (voiced by Pamela Adlon), now in his mid-20s, is thriving in Dallas as a chef.

The reboot’s trailer depicts Hank and Peggy grappling with retirement and the transformations in Arlen since their departure. Hank finds himself particularly perplexed by all-gender restrooms and the newly introduced, adventurous beers.

Alongside the returning voice cast, Ronny Chieng will lend his voice to Kahn, taking over from Huss. The late Jonathan Joss, who was tragically shot on June 1, 2025, came back to voice John Redcorn prior to his untimely death.

“King of the Hill” Season 14 debuts on August 4 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
