Nonetheless, she has forged her own path through stand-up specials like “The First Woman” and her praised portrayal of midwife/witch Jennifer Kale in the musical MCU spinoff “Agatha All Along,” which earned her the Breakthrough Performance Award at the Critics’ Choice Association’s 2nd Annual Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television.

Could Jen make a return in a second season of “Agatha All Along”? Zamata is enthusiastic. “I’m very interested,” she stated, “I’ve made it abundantly clear that I would like to continue portraying this character in any form. But I haven’t received any updates. We’ll see.”

Zamata also mentioned utilizing stand-up to narrate her story, crafting a space where individuals can connect and feel acknowledged. “I sort of appreciate comedy for that reason,” she remarked, “I believe it unites people in a manner that you wouldn’t typically achieve on that level.”
