The conversation regarding Sydney Sweeney’s advertisement for American Eagle jeans is ongoing, with President Trump weighing in on social media about the backlash the ad has encountered.

“In a post on TruthSocial, President Trump remarked, ‘Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the most popular ad currently. It’s for American Eagle and the jeans are selling like hotcakes. Go get ’em, Sydney,'” mentions Seth Meyers in the Late Night segment. “Oh my God, he’s ecstatic that there’s a contemporary, youthful, famous individual who supports the Republican party. I feel so sorry for Kid Rock right now. You know he’s being ignored this week.”

Meyers isn’t the sole host tackling the conservative response to the ad. Previously, Daily Show host Desi Lydic also expressed her views on the Republicans who are standing up for it.
