Leak discloses updated look of Pixel Buds 2a

The Made by Google event is nearing, and as excitement grows for the Pixel 10, a recent leak has revealed the revamped Pixel Buds 2a. An exclusive from Android Headlines discloses leaked images showcasing Google’s newest addition to the Pixel Buds A-series. The case retains Google’s well-known shape but now features a singular, cohesive color inside that corresponds with the earbuds—a subtle yet stylish enhancement.

The Pixel Buds A-series, Google’s economical wireless earbuds lineup, first launched in 2021 as a more viable option compared to the Pixel Buds Pro. While they may be missing certain high-end features like wireless charging or sophisticated audio tuning, they have gained a reputation for commendable sound quality, dependable Google Assistant compatibility, and effortless pairing with Pixel phones and other Android gadgets.

The leak displays the color Iris, a gentle yet eye-catching shade of purple. A leaked specification sheet on X suggests a classic black variant, while another leak points to two additional colors, Hazel and Fog Light.

Per the leaked specification sheet, the Pixel Buds 2a will feature Active Noise Cancellation and Spatial Audio, boasting a battery life of 7 hours, which is slightly lower than the Pixel Buds Pro 2’s 8 hours. If this information is correct, Google aims to keep the A-series both competitive and budget-friendly without sacrificing key features.
