The Long Walk, the newest adaptation of a Stephen King narrative, is a novella that King commenced during his high school years. Almost 60 years later, it is at last being brought to the silver screen. The storyline centers on adolescent boys in a dystopian competition controlled by the military, where failing to sustain a particular speed leads to fatal consequences. The race ends when only a single contestant is left.

The Long Walk debuts in cinemas on Sept. 12.
