Pamela Adlon Reacts to Bobby Hill TikTok Clips

Since *King of the Hill* first aired in 1997, Pamela Adlon has lent her voice to the cherished Bobby Hill. Once depicted as an eccentric boy, Bobby has now evolved into a 21-year-old young man in Season 14 of the revived series, where he runs his own fusion restaurant.

What is it like for Adlon to step back into the role of Bobby Hill and witness his maturation? In a Say More interview with Entertainment Editor Kristy Puchko, Adlon shared insights about this and more. They conversed about Adlon’s thoughts on her *Better Things* co-star Mikey Madison’s Oscar victory, her forthcoming TV memorabilia auction aimed at aiding colleagues in the entertainment industry, and her views on BobbyTok — TikTok videos centered around Bobby Hill, particularly highlighting his iconic line: “That’s my purse! I don’t know you!”

In the above clip, Adlon expresses how voicing Bobby throughout the years on *King of the Hill* has forged a profound connection with him. “I adore Bobby so much. He’s my favorite character, to the extent that when I see a picture of Bobby, I feel like I’m looking at myself, because it’s me. It’s an extension of me. He’s one of my kids too.”

While she takes pride in Bobby, Adlon was unaware of his popularity on TikTok, where his line from the self-defense class gained traction, inspiring numerous videos about self-empowerment and even related to a purse.

She requested to see some of these videos, and we complied. “Oh my God!” Adlon reacted. “That’s incredible!” She then asked her publicist to download TikTok for further exploration later on.

*King of the Hill* Season 14 is currently available for streaming on Hulu.
