What’s coming to AMC+ this fall?

Although AMC’s current sensation, “Interview with the Vampire,” won’t return until 2026, AMC is presenting a new narrative within Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, ideal for supernatural enthusiasts just in time for Halloween!

“Talamasca: The Secret Order”

Admirers of “Interview with the Vampire” eagerly anticipating the third season (renamed “The Vampire Lestat”) can explore different aspects of AMC’s Immortal Universe with “Talamasca: The Secret Order.” This spin-off taps into Anne Rice’s “Vampire Chronicles” and “Lives of the Mayfair Witches.”

In Rice’s narratives and the series, the Talamasca is a clandestine organization observing supernatural occurrences globally, encompassing vampires, witches, demons, and beyond. “Interview with the Vampire” previously introduced audiences to the Talamasca in Season 2, but the first trailer for “Talamasca” promises even more supernatural excitement. Furthermore, Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) from “Interview with the Vampire” is set to feature in “Talamasca,” indicating significant connections between the shows.

Starring: Nicholas Denton, Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Céline Buckens, Jason Schwartzman, and Eric Bogosian

How to watch: “Talamasca: The Secret Order” premieres Oct. 26 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC and AMC+.

What’s debuting on Apple TV+ this fall?

Several of Apple TV+’s standout shows are returning this fall, including the Emmy-winning “Slow Horses” and “The Morning Show.” However, the most compelling title is the sci-fi series “Pluribus,” from “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” creator Vince Gilligan.

“The Last Frontier”

Following 2023’s “Hijack” and the forthcoming “The Last Frontier,” Apple TV+ is venturing into the genre of “shows where something goes drastically wrong on a plane.” In “The Last Frontier,” that “something wrong” is a plane crash in the Alaskan wilderness. The plane is a prison transport, and the crash allows dangerous passengers to escape. (Imagine “Con Air” meets “The Grey.”)

U.S. Marshal Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke) must shield a nearby town from the escaped inmates. However, he believes the crash was not merely an accident but part of a larger conspiracy.

Starring: Jason Clarke, Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum, and Alfre Woodard

How to watch: “The Last Frontier” premieres Oct. 10 on Apple TV+.

“Loot,” Season 3

More Maya Rudolph is always appreciated, so don’t overlook Season 3 of “Loot.”

The series centers on billionaire Molly Wells (Rudolph), who utilizes her $87 billion divorce settlement for good through her charitable organization, the Wells Foundation. Along with Rudolph, “Loot” boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Joel Kim Booster, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, and Ron Funches.

Starring: Maya Rudolph, Joel Kim Booster, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nat Faxon, Ron Funches, Stephanie Styles, D’Arcy Carden, Adam Scott, Zane Phillips, and Henry Winkler
