Samsung users can now engage with Copilot on their televisions. Microsoft has teamed up with Samsung to launch Copilot on select TVs and monitors for content exploration and more. Copilot is now offered as a voice assistant application on Samsung’s 2025 series of TVs and monitors, which includes Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro for TVs, and M7, M8, and M9 models for monitors.
When you open the Copilot app, a moving blob shows up, ready for engagement as soon as you turn on the microphone on your Samsung remote. Microsoft offers illustrations of how to use Copilot for locating shows and movies, complete with visuals of title cards and accompanying details.
You can issue particular requests, such as prompting Copilot to search for cooking shows under two hours, spoiler-free recaps, or content that meets everyone’s tastes. For instance, if your group desires a romantic comedy fused with sci-fi and thriller aspects, Copilot can recommend titles like “Her” or “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.” Furthermore, you can inquire with Copilot for detailed information on actors or directors, or ask general questions such as the weather forecast or seeking emotional support.
Integrating AI into televisions fits its function as a vital informational tool. Google is also implementing AI into hardware beyond smartphones and computers, having unveiled Gemini for Google TV and Android Auto earlier this year.
