Stephen King, recognized for his vocal denouncement of Donald Trump, has amplified his statements lately. Last week, following Trump’s contentious remarks regarding dictators during a cabinet gathering, the horror novelist charged the president with “transforming America into a fascist, authoritarian regime.”

King has once again expressed his views on X, forecasting the 2026 election. “Trump and his money-hungry associates might be in for a significant shock despite their attempts to manipulate the 2026 election,” King stated. “They could end up overwhelmed by a blue wave. Americans are becoming aware that Trump is turning the American dream into a nightmare.”

Trump placed Washington D.C. under federal governance and deployed the National Guard in an alleged crackdown on crime, which faced extensive backlash, as did his recent intentions to expand this initiative to cities like New York and Chicago.
