Observe the Meta Ray-Ban Display Glasses Struggle in Mark Zuckerberg’s Awkward Live Demonstration

Live demonstrations are fundamentally unpredictable because of their real-time aspect. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg witnessed this directly on Wednesday while presenting the company’s latest Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. The glasses encountered issues during live presentations at Meta Connect, including one moment when Zuckerberg found himself awkwardly filling silence as a planned phone call did not come through. The discomfort of the demonstration was evident.

Moreover, Meta encountered another live demo error on Wednesday night while trying to showcase its live AI features through a cooking demonstration. The Ray-Ban Display glasses became unresponsive when attempting to prepare a sauce, failing to accurately process the scene captured by its cameras, leading to yet another uncomfortable situation.

In spite of these challenges, the glasses may still attract customers, as initial reviews are quite favorable. However, the unsuccessful demonstrations on Wednesday were not a reassuring indication for a product priced at $799.99.
