How to play Pips
If you’re familiar with dominoes, Pips will seem recognizable. The tiles, similar to dominoes, are positioned either vertically or horizontally and connect with one another. The key distinction lies in the color-coded requirements you must fulfill. The adjacent tiles do not necessarily need to be identical.
The requirements pertain specifically to the color-coded regions. For instance, if a solitary number is mentioned, all sides of a tile in that area must total the given number. It’s common for only part of a tile to fall within a color-coded area.
Here are typical examples across various difficulty tiers:
– Number: All the pips in this area must sum to the specified number.
– Equal: Every half of the domino in this area must show the same number of pips.
– Not Equal: Each domino half in this area must display a different number of pips.
– Less than: Each domino half in this area must total less than the specified number.
– Greater than: Each domino half in this area must total more than the specified number.
If an area has no color coding, there are no requirements for the segments of dominoes within those regions.
