Saturday Night Live comes back for its 51st season with some alterations. Beloved members like Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner have exited, but Kenan Thompson stays on, marking his 22nd season. The new season begins on Oct. 4 with Bad Bunny returning as host for the second time and Doja Cat as the musical performer. On Oct. 11, Amy Poehler will host for the third time, accompanied by Role Model. Sabrina Carpenter is set to host and perform on Oct. 18.

There have been noteworthy changes in the cast. In addition to Gardner and Nwodim, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker, and Emil Wakim have also moved on. New recruits include Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane from Dropout TV, Kam Patterson from the Kill Tony podcast, and TikTok influencer Veronika Slowikowska.
