Jimmy Kimmel’s Witty Response to JD Vance’s Assertion That He Lacks Humor

Jimmy Kimmel is back on television, but conversations regarding his suspension, which allegedly led to 1.7 million subscribers leaving Disney prior to his return, continue. In a monologue recorded during a special week of performances in New York, Kimmel presents a clip of Vice President JD Vance asserting that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” wasn’t broadcasted by certain networks because Kimmel isn’t deemed “funny.” Kimmel replies, “I have some good news for you J-Dog, we’re back on all the networks,” indicating that TV station owners Nexstar and Sinclair are once again airing his program. He then shares another clip of Vance claiming that advertisers are not fond of Kimmel due to lackluster ratings. Kimmel counters, “My ratings aren’t very good? Last time I checked, your ratings were somewhere between a hair in your salad and chlamydia.”
