TikTok Creators Qualified for as Much as 90% of Subscription Earnings

TikTok creators are presented with a chance to increase their earnings thanks to an adjustment in the platform’s subscription structure. During TikTok’s 2025 U.S. Creator Summit, the organization revealed that creators can now obtain up to 90 percent of the revenue from subscriptions, contingent on meeting specific criteria.

At present, creators receive 70 percent of the revenue share, with the possibility of acquiring an additional 20 percentage point bonus. To be eligible for this bonus, creators need to have a minimum of 10,000 followers, gain 100,000 views over the last month, and post three or more videos exclusive to subscribers within that timeframe.

“The more consistent you are, the more you earn,” remarked Marisa Hammonds, the global head of creator marketing and community, during the Creator Summit.

The adjustment at TikTok seeks to enhance community interaction while boosting earnings. “Subscription enables TikTok creators to cultivate stronger, more engaged communities while generating income through a monthly subscription fee for access to exclusive benefits like special badges, subscriber-only posts, chat options, and more,” TikTok stated in a press announcement.

This modification in subscription payouts currently applies solely to creators in the U.S. and Canada, but a TikTok representative mentioned that it would be rolled out globally in the upcoming months. A notice on TikTok’s website indicates that creators in other regions presently receive 50 percent of subscription revenue, with the prospect of reaching 70 percent through bonuses.

TikTok has already been lucrative for creators, and it may become even more so now.
