The initial expansion for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, Phantasmal Flames, has just been released following an eventful launch weekend. Thankfully, we are currently seeing great prices available, although we must still hope for the overall market to return to MSRP pricing beyond preorders and limited restocks.

With print runs increasing more than ever, we are optimistic about seeing Scarlet and Violet / Mega Evolution era Pokémon TCG reprinted extensively. This will likely lead to scalpers exiting the scene and prices at big box retailers dropping, resulting in better deals for trainers like yourself.

The Phantasmal Flames Booster Box is now priced below market on Amazon at $299.99, in contrast to TCGplayer’s current market price of $309.81. It is still above MSRP, but securing products under market price at this time is the best opportunity available outside of previously mentioned preorders.
