I assessed several well-known models: Quiet 2, Experience 2, Dream, Engage 2, and Switch 2, leaving out the Plus and children’s models. I personally evaluated all except the Loop Experience 2, which was examined by my colleague Haley Henschel.

Are Loop earplugs a worthwhile investment? Investing in hearing health is beneficial. The World Health Organization indicates that many causes of adult hearing loss, such as exposure to loud sounds, are avoidable. They’re comfortable enough for use during sleep and work, and during October Prime Day, they reduced to $14.49, their lowest price. With 24dB noise reduction, they allow for working near a TV at low volumes without distraction. Ideal for concentration, rest, or travel.

Sent to me by a family member, the Loop Dream earplugs are worth the investment for sleep. They block slightly more decibels than the Quiet 2 and are comfy for side sleepers.
