The Dyson V12 Detect Slim is now the most affordable Dyson with the green laser, priced under $400 compared to its usual $729.99. The laser, which makes tiny specks and hair that aren’t easily visible to the naked eye, a must-have feature for households with pets and numerous hard floors. You’d be surprised how dusty your floors can get in just 24 hours.
I’ve utilized the V12 Detect Slim nearly every day for over three years, and it’s still performing well — as long as you maintain it correctly, this investment should last you a long time. When it’s not being used on the floor during those daily cleaning sessions, I switch it to handheld mode to remove fur from the couch with the mini motorized attachment or to tidy up my car with the crevice tool. It’s compact and light enough to hold comfortably with one hand (a quality I can’t attribute to the bulky Gen5 series Dysons).
