OnlyFans was introduced in 2016 by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely. Its main goal is to help content creators and artists “monetize their content while building genuine connections with their audience.” Essentially, the platform enables users to share content behind a paywall, which fans must subscribe to in order to gain access.
