Samsung’s Exclusive Limited Edition Galaxy Z TriFold Has Sold Out

Are you considering acquiring a Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold? Regrettably, you may be out of luck for good. As reported by 9to5google, Samsung has revised the online listing for this sizable foldable phone, indicating that the “limited run” device is “now fully sold out.” This implies that securing one in the foreseeable future, if at all, is improbable. Importantly, Samsung had not previously labeled the TriFold as a “limited run” device prior to this announcement.

The website now recommends users to look into the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 7 instead.

The site now states, “Continue checking samsung.com to ensure you don’t miss any upcoming unique innovations, and shop the latest foldables and premium mobile devices now from Samsung Galaxy.”

For those tracking the TriFold story, this update isn’t entirely unexpected. The device was introduced in Asia late last year, made its western introduction at CES in January, and by March, there were already signs of a limited run. Samsung executed one final restock online and at select retail locations in the U.S. in early April, signaling the conclusion of the TriFold’s availability.

Whether this was the initial strategy or a consequence of recognizing the difficulties of producing a nearly $3,000 smartphone amid global memory shortages, it appears that those who wished for a TriFold have either already secured one or will not be able to obtain one.
