### What is *Connections*?
The *New York Times*’ new daily word puzzle has taken social media by storm. Associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu is acknowledged for her role in creating *Connections*, which is now featured in the *Times*’ Games section. The game can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices, and the aim is straightforward: categorize four words that have something in common.
Each challenge features 16 words that need to be organized into four categories. These categories can include book titles, country names, software, among others. While many words may appear to fit together, there is only one correct grouping.
When you successfully identify a set of four words, they are eliminated from the grid. However, an incorrect guess counts as a mistake. You can make up to four errors before the game concludes.
To facilitate gameplay, participants can shuffle the board to identify connections more easily. The difficulty of each set is indicated by color: yellow is the simplest, succeeded by green, blue, and purple. Similar to *Wordle*, you can share your results with friends on social networks.
