### What is *Connections*?
The *New York Times* has introduced another success to its Games section with *Connections*, a daily word puzzle that has taken the online world by storm. Developed with contributions from associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, *Connections* is accessible on both web and mobile platforms. The objective? To categorize four words that share a common theme.
Each puzzle features 16 words that need to be sorted into four unique categories. These categories can include anything from movie titles to software, country names, and beyond. While many words may appear to belong together, only one correct grouping exists.
When you successfully group four words, they disappear from the board. However, a wrong guess counts as a mistake, and players have a maximum of four mistakes before the game concludes.
To simplify things, players can shuffle the board to find connections more easily. Each group is highlighted in different colors: yellow for the simplest, then green, blue, and purple. Like *Wordle*, results can be shared with friends on social platforms.
