Since the pilot program kicked off, CameoX has already drawn in 31,000 self-enrolled creators. The platform is being promoted as an “alternative revenue stream for talent,” especially for creators who already maintain a profile on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. Many of these creators had previously sought to become part of Cameo but were denied under the old framework.

Historically, creators could join Cameo in one of three manners: through outreach from the Cameo team, a referral from another talent or manager, or by direct application.
