Martin Short is ready to co-host *SNL* this week, and in the promo above, he seeks assistance from the cast members to wrap gifts for his famous friends.

“Now, this book is intended for Colin Jost. It’s titled *How to Cultivate a Personality*,” Short jests, displaying the assortment of gifts. “This baby rattle? It’s for Al Pacino. Not for his infant—it’s genuinely for Al. And, naturally, this suntan lotion is for Steve Martin. It’s SPF infinity, because, let’s be honest, Steve is paler than a Coldplay meet-and-greet. His blood type? Mayonnaise.”

In the end, Short presents two autographed pictures of himself. “And these? These are for my children,” he says with a smile.
