Jimmy Kimmel Responds to Trump’s Plan to Revive Hollywood

If you’ve been anxious about the condition of the film industry, fret no longer—Donald Trump is said to have a strategy to “restore Hollywood to its former glory.”

In a segment on *Jimmy Kimmel Live!*, the host pointed out a recent post on Truth Social by the former president. In this post, Trump declared that Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone would act as his “special envoys” to Hollywood. It’s worth mentioning that all three actors have previously shown their support for Trump. Yet, their participation isn’t without its controversies. Gibson has been the subject of multiple allegations over the years, including claims of anti-Semitism, homophobia, and domestic abuse. Stallone has also faced accusations of sexual assault in the past.

“Wow, Braveheart, Rambo, and the Midnight Cowboy: He called upon the three horsemen of the Apocalypto to rescue us,” Kimmel joked, referencing the actors’ renowned roles. “In other words, Trump watched *The Expendables 3* on his plane last night and thought, ‘Hmm, I need those guys to assist me.'” Kimmel continued with a hint of sarcasm, “And who better to serve as Trump’s eyes and ears than 86-year-old Jon Voight?”
