Anthony Hopkins (*Rebel Moon*) and Bill Skarsgård (*Nosferatu*) are poised for a confrontation in the forthcoming horror thriller *Locked*. Based on the trailer, the film seems to be a warped mixture of *Saw* — but with wheels.

Helmed by David Yarovesky (*Nightbooks*) and produced by Sam Raimi (the *Evil Dead* series), *Locked* features Skarsgård as Eddie, a desperate criminal who breaks into what he believes is a lavish SUV. However, this is not just any vehicle. It belongs to William (Hopkins), a vigilante who has turned it into a sophisticated trap intended to punish wrongdoers.

As William informs Eddie via phone, he has poured considerable time and resources into crafting the ultimate device for torture. The SUV is outfitted with bulletproof walls and windows, disrupts cell service, and has electrified seats capable of delivering shocks. To complicate matters, William can adjust the car’s temperature at will, ensuring Eddie faces no exit.

However, William’s intention is not to kill Eddie immediately. Instead, he takes command of the vehicle remotely, driving it dangerously through the streets — potentially putting innocent bystanders at risk — all in an attempt to give Eddie “a little taste of hell.”

*Locked* is set to premiere in theaters on March 21.
