YouTube Shorts is rolling out a feature that enables the inclusion of AI-generated videos in your posts.

YouTube is simplifying the process of integrating AI-generated videos into short-form content. The platform has revealed that Shorts will now incorporate Veo 2, Google DeepMind’s latest video model, enabling users to produce and embed AI-created clips into their videos.

This innovative feature will be a part of Shorts’ Dream Screen, which already allows users to include AI-generated backgrounds in their posts.

In a [blog post](https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/veo-2-shorts/) announcing the enhancement, YouTube stated:

*”Need a specific scene but lack the appropriate footage? Eager to make your imagination a reality and share a one-of-a-kind story? Just use a text prompt to create a video clip that seamlessly integrates into your narrative, or build an entirely new universe of content. It’s that simple!”*

YouTube noted that Veo 2 has a better grasp of real-world physics and human motions, resulting in more lifelike and intricate AI-generated videos. Users will also have the option to make clips with particular styles, lenses, or cinematic effects.

The blog post presents an example of how creators could utilize the tool—showcasing a video in which a man’s dog dramatically enlarges.

While the prospect of generating AI videos with such ease is thrilling, it also prompts concerns. YouTube assured users that AI-generated content will feature [SynthID](https://deepmind.google/technologies/synthid/) watermarks and explicit [labels](https://blog.youtube/inside-youtube/our-approach-to-responsible-ai-innovation/) to aid in eliminating confusion among viewers.

For the moment, this new AI-driven feature is accessible to users in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
