**”Long Live the True Monarch.”**
This was the statement showcased in an apparently [AI-crafted](https://x.com/rmc031/status/1894034100068962407) video depicting Donald Trump kneeling and kissing Elon Musk’s feet. The video was looped continuously at the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) headquarters on Monday.
A snippet of the video, which aired on a television in the HUD cafeteria in Washington, D.C., was shared by Vox reporter Rachel Cohen, who received it from a source.
The occurrence coincided with the deadline Musk established for federal employees to [send an email](https://mashable.com/article/elon-musk-federal-employees-email-trolling) outlining five tasks they had completed the prior week or face the risk of job loss. In reaction, internet users have been disseminating fake emails supposedly sent to the government’s Office of Personnel Management as a means to satirize Musk.
The presentation of the AI-generated video at HUD seems to be yet another instance of protest against Trump and Musk’s initiatives to undermine federal agencies.
As reported by [Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/mollybohannon/2025/02/24/video-of-trump-kissing-elon-musks-feet-reportedly-plays-in-hud-building/), HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett criticized the video as “yet another squandering of taxpayer funds and resources” and mentioned that “suitable measures” would be implemented.
