### What is *Connections*?
The *NYT*’s newest word game has taken the social media world by storm. Developed with the input of associate puzzle editor Wyna Liu, *Connections* can be accessed on both web browsers and mobile devices. The aim is to cluster four words that share a common theme.
Each puzzle features 16 words, organized into four categories. These categories may consist of anything from book titles to software applications, countries, and beyond. While several words might appear to belong together, only one grouping is correct.
When you successfully identify a collection of four related words, they are removed from the board. However, incorrect guesses are counted as a mistake, and players can make a maximum of four errors before the game concludes.
To aid in solving, players can shuffle the board to more easily spot connections. Each category is color-coded:
– **Yellow** (easiest)
– **Green**
– **Blue**
– **Purple** (most challenging)
Similar to *Wordle*, you can share your progress with friends on social media.
