Nicole Kidman takes the spotlight in a gripping mystery in the trailer for *Holland*.

Helmed by Mimi Cave (*Fresh*), the film centers on Nancy Vandergroot (Kidman), a teacher enjoying what appears to be a flawless life in the charming town of Holland, Michigan. Alongside her esteemed husband (Matthew Macfadyen) and their son (Jude Hill), she navigates her everyday routine. The trailer begins with picturesque depictions of the town—expansive tulip fields, classic clog performances, and delightful windmills—creating a tranquil ambiance.

Yet, everything shifts dramatically when Nancy and a coworker (Gael García Bernal) start to believe that her husband might be concealing something malevolent. His strange fixation on a tiny replica of Holland only deepens the tension.

“You get to create a narrative and control everything,” he explains to his son regarding the model. “Like directing your own movie, but even better.”

Could he be orchestrating more than just the model? Is he exerting influence over the entire town? The disquieting atmosphere and creepy undertones evoke strong *Stepford Wives* feelings—especially with Kidman in the starring role.
