iPhone 17 Pro Leaks Uncover Major Design Revamp

The iPhone 17 Might Present an Eye-Catching New Camera Layout for Personalization

Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 17 could unveil a novel method for users to express their individual style.

Recently, prominent leaker Majin Bu posted images on X (formerly Twitter) that supposedly display design concepts for the iPhone 17 Pro. While the cases appear relatively conventional, one notable aspect is highlighted: a revamped rear camera bar that extends horizontally across the back of the device. This fresh configuration not only alters the appearance of the phone but also paves the way for creative personalization choices.

The leaked visuals suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro keeps the recognizable triple-lens camera arrangement seen on the iPhone 16 Pro. However, the LiDAR sensor and flash have been moved to the far right side of the device, all contained within a pronounced camera bump. Although the design isn’t identical, it shows a conceptual similarity to the horizontal camera bars utilized in recent Google Pixel devices.

These revelations correspond with previous dummy model leaks of the iPhone 17 range, which also showcased the extended camera bar—although the standard iPhone 17 model notably did not feature this design aspect.

Moreover, the alterations don’t end here. Majin Bu later disclosed that Apple might provide optional camera covers that fit over the new camera bar. With ample room between the left-side lenses and the right-side components, users could introduce vibrant or artistic designs to further personalize their devices.

This new customization feature could prove beneficial for all: users gain additional avenues for self-expression, and accessory manufacturers acquire a fresh category to explore. Furthermore, Apple could potentially launch its own series of luxury camera covers, adding yet another income stream to its ecosystem.

In summary, the rumored design modifications for the iPhone 17 Pro could deliver both aesthetic charm and fresh chances for personalization—something that fans and accessory creators are bound to appreciate.
