Another day, another perplexing interview with the President of the United States.

Recently, Donald Trump’s bizarre Time magazine interview created quite a stir online, but it has now been eclipsed by a fresh dialogue — this time a televised discussion with ABC’s Terry Moran. Throughout the interview, Trump unwaveringly claimed that an obviously manipulated image was authentic, despite Moran’s efforts to redirect the topic.

“He’s incredibly proud of that ‘Gulf of America’ poster because he genuinely believes the words are inscribed on the water,” quipped Daily Show host Desi Lydic in the clip above.

“What’s astonishing is that Terry Moran kept attempting to shift the conversation, yet Trump refused to let him,” Lydic continued. “I’ve never witnessed an interview where a reporter catches a politician in a falsehood, and the politician is the one proclaiming, ‘Don’t move on! I’m not done embarrassing myself!’”
