Donald Trump’s social media team has once more explored the realm of artificial intelligence, this time unveiling an AI-generated image of the former president brandishing a lightsaber. The image appeared on the official White House X account over the weekend in honor of Star Wars Day (May the Fourth).

Nonetheless, as Jon Stewart pointed out in a recent monologue on The Daily Show, there’s a crucial detail that seems to have been missed.

“I know I’m not meant to get sidetracked, but he’s not a Jedi in that image!” Stewart exclaimed. “Do you get it? Trump is depicting himself as a Jedi, but the lightsaber he’s wielding is red. The only reason a lightsaber turns red is due to its kyber crystal being tainted by anger and hatred—traits of the Dark Side.”

Stewart wrapped up with a sharp observation: “So every one of those images Trump shares is essentially an acknowledgment that he’s not a Jedi, but a Sith Lord!”
