**The Conjuring: Last Rites Teaser – Signifying the Ultimate Chapter for Ed and Lorraine Warren**

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are poised to once again take on their legendary roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren in The Conjuring: Last Rites, the newest—and reportedly final—chapter in the spine-chilling Conjuring series.

This pair has brought the real-life paranormal investigators to life since the 2013 original film, The Conjuring. They reprised their roles in both sequels, The Conjuring 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and have appeared in various other films within the Conjuring Universe, such as Annabelle Comes Home and The Nun.

Throughout the years, the Warrens have confronted everything from haunted dolls to demonic possessions. Now, The Conjuring: Last Rites is set to wrap up their supernatural saga. But what malevolent force could finally persuade these seasoned ghost-hunters to put away their crucifixes?

The film is inspired by the Warrens’ actual investigation into the haunting of the Smurl family, a famous case marked by a series of horrifying paranormal occurrences in West Pittston, Pennsylvania. The trailer hints at some of the terrors ahead, featuring a doll that levitates and a sink inexplicably filling with blood—though it’s likely the Warrens have encountered even worse.

Joining the cast are Mia Tomlinson as Judy, the daughter of Ed and Lorraine, and Ben Hardy as her boyfriend, Tony. Michael Chaves, who directed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, returns to direct this chapter. Franchise originator James Wan produces alongside his longtime partner Peter Safran.

The Conjuring: Last Rites is set to premiere in theaters on September 5.
