**”Bring Her Back” Trailer: “Talk to Me” Filmmakers Come Back with a Fresh Horror to Torment You**

In 2023, filmmakers Danny and Michael Phillipou made a haunting entrance with Talk to Me, establishing it as one of the year’s most notable horror films. Now, the sibling duo is diving back into the genre with their eagerly awaited second film, Bring Her Back — and it appears equally horrifying.

Bring Her Back features Sally Hawkins in the role of Laura, a foster mother who welcomes two siblings, Andy (Billy Barratt) and Piper (Sora Wong). The children are on a quest for a new beginning and a safe haven, but what they encounter instead is far more disturbing.

As showcased in the film’s unsettling trailer, Laura is mourning the death of her young daughter, Cathy (Mischa Heywood). Still plagued by her loss, Laura holds onto old home videos and becomes convinced that there may be a way to resurrect Cathy from beyond the grave.

The precise details of Laura’s intentions remain unclear, but it seems to involve Oliver (Jonah Wren Phillips), another child under her guardianship. In one unsettling moment, Oliver is depicted writhing on the floor, covered in blood and seemingly overtaken by an unseen entity. Whatever Laura is trying to achieve, it’s evidently releasing something sinister and perilous.

While Bring Her Back hints at an abundance of supernatural frights, it also seems set to tackle the emotional burden of grief — echoing the themes of the Phillipous’ previous film, Talk to Me, which traced a teenager’s desperate journey to reconnect with her departed mother. Brace yourself for a horror experience that promises to be as heart-wrenching as it is terrifying.

Bring Her Back is set to hit theaters on May 30.
