Young Mazino managed to maintain his composure even after unintentionally revealing a (kind of) spoiler regarding The Last of Us Season 2 during his segment on The Tonight Show.

In the interview segment, host Jimmy Fallon prompts Mazino for a brief summary of what’s unfolding in the current season of the HBO series. Mazino casually replies, “Well, the central characters, Ellie and Dina, find themselves in a war-torn area seeking revenge, as Pedro Pascal’s character Joel was brutally killed by someone from the WLF…”

Before he can complete his thought, Fallon interrupts with a “spoiler alert!” which leads Mazino to retract his statement and apologize to the viewers.

“Apologies, I’m still getting used to this. I just figured everyone here had seen the show,” Mazino chuckles. “Let me retract that. I’m joking. None of that actually takes place.”

To be fair, it’s been several weeks since that crucial episode was released — so for numerous fans, the moment might not have come as much of a shock.
