On Wednesday evening, The Tonight Show introduced a temporary new host as Jimmy Fallon exchanged places with his guest, Jin.

The BTS member and worldwide K-pop phenomenon graced the show to promote his latest solo album, Echo, along with the eagerly awaited BTS reunion scheduled for June. During their discussion, Fallon and Jin also touched upon Jin’s recent chat with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning lead star Tom Cruise, which was featured on Jin’s YouTube series, Run Jin.

“Have you ever thought about hosting a variety show like this?” Fallon inquired. “I believe you’d excel at it.”

“Not in the slightest,” Jin replied with amusement. “But should I give it a shot?”

Seizing the moment, the pair switched roles for a short segment, with Jin taking the host’s seat to pose a few questions to Fallon. And judging by his performance, Fallon may want to keep an eye out — Jin demonstrated some impressive hosting skills.
