After mesmerizing fans in the 2023 horror hit M3GAN, the cherished killer sass machine returns to theaters in M3GAN 2.0. This time, she’s stronger, taller, and flaunting new dance moves.

Blumhouse Productions has brought back M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis), but she’s not the sole deadly robot in the mix. The M3GAN 2.0 trailer unveils another powerful AI, Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno from Ahsoka). Designed with identical technology to M3GAN, Amelia’s growing self-awareness compels her to eliminate anyone in her way, including M3GAN’s creator Gemma (Allison Williams) and her niece, former M3GAN supporter, Cady (Violet McGraw).

Luckily, Gemma and Cady have M3GAN’s consciousness primed to safeguard them. They restore their previous foe in a revamped and enhanced body to more effectively confront Amelia. It bears a resemblance to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with a twist where Arnold Schwarzenegger advises adversaries to “hold onto your vaginas.”

M3GAN’s evolution is prominently displayed in the M3GAN 2.0 trailer, showcasing her new martial arts prowess and flying capabilities. Her dance moves have also progressed, inspired by Britney Spears and Chappell Roan, as hinted by the soundtrack of the trailer. Penned and helmed by M3GAN director Gerard Johnstone and produced by James Wan (Saw, Insidious), M3GAN 2.0 also stars Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement.

M3GAN 2.0 premieres in theaters on June 27.
