Apple announced its latest Apple Watches on Tuesday. Before the event, rumors indicated that the Series 11 and Ultra 3 Apple Watches would make their debut alongside the iPhone 17, and this has now been verified. The Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 can now be preordered and will be shipped on Sept. 19.
The Apple Watch Series 11 features the Liquid Glass display.
The earlier models of the Apple Watch were launched in September 2024 during Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event, which also introduced the Series 10. This year, Apple started its presentation by emphasizing the life-saving capabilities of the Apple Watch before revealing the new versions.

The Series 11 boasts the slimmest and most comfortable design with an ionized glass watch face for greater scratch resistance. It is compatible with 5G for improved connectivity and comes with watchOS 26, incorporating the Liquid Glass display.
New health-oriented features in the Series 11 Apple Watch include blood pressure monitoring to warn users about hypertension. Sleep data has also been enhanced, providing a sleep score akin to those in wellness trackers like Oura and Whoop.
Notably, Apple is improving the battery longevity on the Apple Watch to accommodate new functions, extending it from 18 to 24 hours.
The Apple Watch SE 3 remains the most budget-friendly smartwatch offered by the company.
Also launching this year is the Apple Watch SE 3, powered by the S10 chip. While being a more economical option, it now features gesture controls and an always-on display. Its health functionalities are widened to include sleep apnea detection and temperature sensing. Moreover, music can now be streamed from the SE.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 showcases a larger display size without increasing the case dimensions, now featuring the biggest watch face on any Apple Watch. It improves satellite functionality for athletes exploring off-grid paths, backed by its 42-hour battery life.
The Apple Watch Series 11 is priced starting at $399, the SE 3 at $249, and the Ultra 3 at $799. All models are available for preorder now and will ship on Sept. 19.
