A24’s *Sorry, Baby* Trailer Offers a Cringe-worthy yet Heartfelt Comedy

A24 has unveiled the trailer for its forthcoming movie Sorry, Baby, an eccentric yet deeply moving comedy that promises to deliver both humor and substance.

The film is crafted by Eva Victor, who assumes the roles of writer, director, and lead actor, portraying Agnes—a woman contending with the emotional repercussions of a traumatic incident that happened three years prior.

Characterizing the film as “bittersweet, brilliant, and heartwarmingly funny,” Mashable’s Kristy Puchko commended Sorry, Baby in her review, emphasizing its potential to connect with viewers far beyond its premiere at Sundance. “Victor possesses a voice that is powerful, peculiar, and deserves to be acknowledged,” Puchko stated, also mentioning that A24’s talent for promoting unconventional cinema will enhance the film’s chances of reaching its audience.

The ensemble cast features Naomi Ackie, Lucas Hedges, John Carroll Lynch, Louis Cancelmi, and Kelly McCormack.

Sorry, Baby is set to debut in select theaters on June 27, with a wider release scheduled for July 18.
