Apple has launched iOS 26 beta 7 for developers. If you possess an Apple developer account, you can access it immediately. Even though this beta comes late in the development cycle, it brings along some significant features.
**Blood Oxygen Measurement**
The latest beta, together with watchOS 26 beta 7, now enables Apple’s blood oxygen measurement feature in the U.S. This functionality was earlier restricted due to a patent conflict with Masimo but was reinstated in iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1. It is now accessible in the iOS 26 beta versions. To utilize this feature, you need an Apple Watch Series 9 or 10, or an Apple Watch Ultra 2.
**Toggle Adaptive Power Notifications**
A new feature allows toggling of Adaptive Power Notifications. Previously, the only option was to simply enable or disable Adaptive Power. Now, you can opt to receive alerts when the device modifies performance to conserve battery. You can locate this in Settings > Battery > Power Mode.
**Filter Messages by Drafts**
In the Messages app, clicking the three-lines icon in the top right corner now enables filtering messages by Drafts.
**Screenshots Bug Fixed**
MacRumors indicates that this release rectifies an issue that caused screenshots to be excessively dark.
**How to Install the New Beta**
Keep in mind, this is a developer beta and should only be installed if you have a backup and are ready for possible bugs. For installation guidance, check out Mashable’s iOS 26 guide or head over to Apple’s beta portal.
