As is typical, Amazon has promptly placed various new Apple devices on sale after the company’s “Awe Dropping” product presentation on Sept. 9. Earlier this week, the new Apple Watch Series 11 and revamped AirPods Pro 3 experienced a temporary $10 price cut. A few FineWoven MagSafe wallets for the latest iPhone 17 series also saw a slight reduction.

The new flagship smartphones from Apple have not yet gone on sale, but a variety of new cases for them are available at 10% off on Amazon for a limited duration. This offer includes Apple-branded clear, silicone, bumper, and “TechWoven” options for the standard iPhone 17, the enhanced iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, and the extremely thin iPhone Air. (TechWoven is the new Pro-tier case type from Apple made with multicolored yarn that is protected by a scratch- and stain-resistant finish.)

Prices range from $34.99 (usually $39) for a clear iPhone Air bumper case to $52.99 (normally $59) for the Pro and Pro Max’s TechWoven case featuring MagSafe compatibility. Each design is available in multiple color choices.

A 10% discount isn’t exceptionally large, but if you’ve just acquired a new iPhone at launch and want to avoid damage right from the outset, a deal is a deal. A case is particularly crucial if you purchased or intend to buy the iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max, which are reportedly prone to scuffing. (Social media users have referred to this situation as “scratchgate” — you know a dilemma is serious when it gets a “-gate” suffix.)

For your information, all of Apple’s iPhone 17 series cases remain at their full price in the Apple Store, with only three silicone models having price-matched at Best Buy.
