Apple’s forthcoming iPad Pro is said to come equipped with a second front camera. As per Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the updated model will sport one front camera positioned on the top and another on the side. This enhancement responds to a long-standing concern for users, benefiting those who wish to utilize the iPad in both portrait and landscape orientations.
In the past, the iPad Pro had a front camera at the top until last year’s version, when Apple shifted the FaceTime camera to the side. This modification likely pleased users who often conduct video calls in landscape mode. Nevertheless, on a premium device like the iPad Pro, having both camera placements appears optimal.
Alongside the revamped camera arrangement, the new iPad Pro, anticipated to debut in October, will be powered by Apple’s latest M5 chip.
Gurman also offered information regarding the upcoming foldable iPhone, set to arrive next year. Apple is not looking to pioneer with its inaugural foldable device but will instead take cues from Samsung’s Fold, providing benefits like a nearly invisible crease and an enhanced hinge system.
