Apple’s Latest Warranty Includes 3 Items for $20/Month

AppleCare, the warranty and support service from Apple, has grown. On Wednesday, the company introduced AppleCare One, a subscription plan that encompasses several Apple products. The plan starts at $19.99 monthly and includes coverage for up to three Apple products, with the possibility of adding extra devices for an additional $5.99 per month.

This plan is distinct from AppleCare+, which remains available and provides coverage for a single Apple product.

The pricing is consistent regardless of which three Apple devices you select, and you can include any recently acquired product (or product already safeguarded by AppleCare+) in the plan. However, the devices you currently possess must be in good condition and less than four years old (except for headphones, which need to be under one year old).

Moreover, the AppleCare One plan cannot be extended to cover all of your family’s devices; only those linked to the same Apple Account as the subscriber can be included.

What’s provided in AppleCare One?

What can you expect for your investment? In addition to all the features that come with AppleCare+ (unlimited repairs for damages such as drops and spills, 24/7 support, Apple-certified service, and battery coverage), the AppleCare One plan also broadens theft and loss protection to include not only the iPhone but also the iPad and Apple Watch.

The new AppleCare One plan will launch on Thursday, July 24, in the U.S. Customers have the option to enroll directly on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or visit a physical Apple Store.
