Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal Come Together in Exciting Trailer for *The Accountant 2*

Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal reprise their roles as estranged siblings in *The Accountant 2*, the follow-up to the 2016 action thriller. The initial trailer for the movie has just premiered.

Once again helmed by Gavin O’Connor, the narrative centers on Christian Wolff (Affleck), a highly proficient forensic accountant on the autism spectrum who previously worked for criminal enterprises. After moving on from that lifestyle, he is drawn back when his old associate Ray King (J.K. Simmons) is discovered dead, with the enigmatic message “find the accountant” inscribed on his arm. U.S. Treasury deputy director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) recruits Wolff to investigate the homicide and uncover a broader conspiracy—but this time, he might require the assistance of his battle-experienced brother.

While *The Accountant* received accolades for its gripping fight scenes showcasing the martial art pencak silat, it also ignited discussions about its representation of autism. It remains to be seen how the sequel will address these issues.

*The Accountant 2* premieres in theaters on April 25.
