Beyoncé Set to Take the Stage at Netflix’s First NFL Christmas Gameday

Beyoncé enthusiasts, take this as your early holiday gift — and don’t forget to express your gratitude!

The musical legend and *Cowboy Carter* star is poised to take center stage at Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday, as revealed by the streaming service on Instagram this past Sunday.

On December 25, Netflix will broadcast two NFL matchups starting at 1 p.m. ET: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens. Beyoncé’s performance is slated for 4:30 p.m. ET / 9:30 GMT, positioned perfectly between the two games.

In a special surprise for her fans, Beyoncé will sing tracks from her newest album live from Houston, Texas. This performance will be the first live rendition of songs from the *Cowboy Carter* album, which has received 11 Grammy nominations. To heighten the excitement, special guests featured on the album are anticipated to join her on stage, although their identities remain unconfirmed. The event is co-produced by Netflix and Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.

This isn’t Beyoncé’s debut in the NFL arena. She headlined the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII in 2013, with a memorable appearance by Destiny’s Child. Additionally, she took the stage at Super Bowl 50 in 2016 alongside Bruno Mars and Coldplay. Regarding Netflix, Beyoncé has collaborated with the platform before, signing a three-project deal valued at $60 million in 2019. One of those projects, *Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé*, which chronicled her 2018 Coachella performance, is considered one of the top music documentaries available on Netflix.

The NFL Christmas Day games will also be accessible through the NFL+ app and broadcasted on local TV stations in team cities. This represents a notable step into sports for Netflix, which has already slated NFL matches for 2025 and 2026. The platform recently aired the high-profile boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, which, despite some technical glitches, drew an estimated 60 million households.

So, save the date — Christmas Day just became significantly more thrilling!
