The official trailer for the South Korean romantic comedy/zombie horror series *Newtopia* has been released, highlighting BLACKPINK’s Jisoo as she navigates the tumult of love and survival.

Set in Seoul at the beginning of a zombie outbreak, *Newtopia* centers on soldier Jae-yoon (played by Park Jeong-min) and his girlfriend, Young-joo (portrayed by Jisoo). Well, technically, she is his ex-girlfriend. Following a heated disagreement that results in their split, Young-joo quickly realizes her mistake and is set on mending things with Jae-yoon. Unfortunately, her pursuit of love coincides with the unexpected onset of a zombie apocalypse, compelling her to confront swarms of the undead to reunite with him.

In spite of the constant risk of becoming zombie fodder, Young-joo’s resolve is unyielding, prompting the frustrated Jae-yoon to start his own journey to find his fearless (and somewhat reckless) ex.

*Newtopia* is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 7.
